Iran Threatens To Torpedo US Carriers In The Persian Gulf

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 11:15 am

What really worries me about these threats from Iran, as well as reports of a weakened China, more threats from Russia, and a “nuclear energy” deal between Russia and Saudi Arabia, is that history seems to be repeating itself. I don’t mean to say that very specific things are happening as they did in the past, but that the world tends to handle crisis the same way, and in cycles whereby they never learn from previous mistakes. Global economic crises tend to lead to global war. Like it or not, war creates a lot of jobs for some and can shore up the economy, again, for some. I hope that’s not where we’re headed, but it would sure fit the scenario outlined in Ezekiel, and the similarities are far beyond what one might consider just coincidental.

Underscoring its desire to keep U.S. aircraft carriers from the Persian Gulf, a senior Iranian military commander today announced his possible plan to ambush the American fleet.

Chalk this one up to more bluster, or part of a mounting back and forth rhetoric headed nowhere good, either way – Tehran plans to rely on its subs.

Lieutenant Commander of the Iranian Army’s Self-Sufficiency Jihad, Rear Admiral Farhad Amiri told Fars that Iran has the finest electic diesel submarines in the world, and that while the U.S. has focused on Tehran’s “astonishing surface capabilities,” it has forgotten about the underwater threat.

Amiri said he plans to slip his fleet of subs onto the Persian Gulf floor and “fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously.”

Warning to all OWS Protestors – Stay out of Texas!

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 1:42 am

A bus driver in Texas ended up having to call the cops and have the unruly, rude…..typical OWS protestors thrown off his Greyhound bus. The article doesn’t really say what they were doing, other than the driver was having to tell them to sit down and shut up constantly. We’ve all seen the mob mentality of these jerks, though, so you can probably imagine just how they were acting.

What the self involved, lazy, OWS protestors don’t understand is that, when they put other lives in danger by being unruly on a bus, their rights to free speech end there. I’m glad they got thrown out on their butts, especially in the middle of a state they probably despise, or at least are despised by the decent, law abiding Americans who live there.

A group of Occupy protesters on its way from San Diego to Washington, D.C. is furious after it claims it was kicked off a Greyhound bus in Amarillo, TX.

“I was discriminated against because I was with Occupy San Diego,” protester Vivian McCardle told KFDA-TV. “It’s appalling that people would treat others like that….

whaaaaa…..cry me an endangered rain forest

No one was kicked off just yet, and two of the officers left the bus to speak with the driver once again, while one remained on board to speak with the protesters. The officer who remained inside, told everyone that they would be able to stay on the bus as long as they don’t communicate with the driver at all. Everyone agreed and were looking forward to getting back on the road. The officer even explained to the protesters that they have to deal with this driver, his disrespectful attitude, and attempts to get people arrested without cause all the time.

While one of the officers was talking with the passengers on the bus, the driver was seen waving his hands in disgust and his head in disapproval at the two officers speaking with him outside. A few minutes later, the driver and both officers returned and explained to everyone that anyone with Occupy would have to leave the bus.

Without argument and still in shock, all thirteen protesters even those not pointed out by the driver, quietly stood up and walked off the buss together. By the time the group was booted from the bus, it was already after 8pm and over an hour since the bus was originally supposed to depart Amarillo.

They were probably lost without all the rats, infestations, scabies, and hippie paraphernalia they are used to in DC and New York. But, I’m sure they had their iPhone to get them out of the bind of being stranded….corporate products for me, but not for thee.

Iran closer to bomb than world realizes

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:55 am

This is why the 2012 election is so important to the future of the U.S. and the world. We are running out of time with Iran, and the threat is more real than the Obama-loving MSM will ever admit.

We must elect a true leader who doesn’t give up every time he’s faced with something that might taint his Presidency, or anger his base. Our future President must have a moral compass that puts country and what is right before himself. Courage and selflessness on the part of our future President are the only things that will spare us another global war.

A report that Iran is about a year away from having the capability to build a nuclear bomb may be too optimistic, contended John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

“I worry the publicly available information is giving only a very small picture and that Iran is actually even much further along,” Bolton said today in a radio interview.

    …snip…

In his article last week, Heinonen, who was the IAEA’s director-general until 2010, said that building a stock of 250 kg of 20-percent enriched uranium did not mean Iran could deploy a bomb without further engineering work.

Still, he allowed that 20-percent enriched uranium could within weeks be further purified to the 90-percent necessary for weapons grade.

Israel sees France as being tougher on Iran than the U.S.

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:29 am

When France is described as being tougher on Iran than the the United States, you know you have a coward in the Oval Office. Obama remains clueless to the threat Iran poses to the United States, and couldn’t care less about the welfare of the Jewish people. Vote him out of office America. God is watching.

A senior Israeli official voiced disappointment in the Obama administration on Sunday, saying “election-year considerations” lay behind its caution over tough Iran sanctions sought by U.S. legislators.

While Washington has been talking tougher about Iran’s nuclear work and threat to block oil export routes out of the Gulf if hit with harsher sanctions, new U.S. measures adopted on December 31 gave President Barak Obama leeway on the scope of penalties on the Iranian central bank and oil exports.

Moshe Yaalon, Israel’s vice prime minister, contrasted the administration’s posture to that of France and Britain, which he said “are taking a very firm stand and understand sanctions must be imposed immediately.”

“In the United States, the Senate passed a resolution, by a majority of 100-to-one, to impose these sanctions, and in the U.S. administration there is hesitation for fear of oil prices rising this year, out of election-year considerations,” Yaalon told Israel Radio.

U.S. jobless claims rise sharply to 6-week high

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 11:55 pm

Once again the “good news” of last week has been revised, and a media dump of the new bad news has been strategically released on a weekend, when fewer people will see it. There is no good news on the jobs front, and I hope the funny math that always comes out before the revised numbers a few days later aren’t fooling the American people. There is no recovery, only an Obama Depression. We can not afford 4 more years of this little boy wonder in office.

The number of Americans applying for first-time jobless benefits rose last week, a report showed on Thursday, reversing a recent decline and suggesting the labor market remains brittle. Unemployment claims jumped to 399,000 in the first week of 2012, the highest in six weeks, from an upwardly revised 375,000 in the prior week. The four-week average of claims also marched higher to 381,750 from 374,000. The Labor Department report also showed 3.63 million continuing claims, up from 3.61 million. Including the millions of workers receiving benefits under emergency federal programs, some 7.3 million Americans were receiving unemployment benefits as of Dec. 24, the most recent date for which comprehensive figures are available. The U.S. unemployment rate has fallen sharply in recent months and was 8.5 percent December, but some economists worry the drop has been due in part to discouraged workers dropping out of the labor force.

Shhhhhh…..have a nice weekend and never mind the continued plummet into a weaker economy.

Obama on Pace to Borrow $6.2T in One Term—More Than All Presidents from Washington Through Clinton Combined

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 2:11 pm

Obama can no longer play the “blame Bush” game. Not now, or in the campaign to come. It rings hollow when the President whines that Bush left him “a mess” and a pile of debt, when he himself has wracked up more debt than nearly all administrations since the country was founded. And, he did so in only one term in office. Think what damage he could do with a second term.

Now if we can just get our Republican nominee, who ever that ends up being, to actually point this out as many times as they possibly can, we stand a good chance of getting rid of this Marxist dictator. The Republican’s (not true Conservatives) problem always seems to be a meek, afraid to make waves approach to campaigning. It’s the same cowardice they display once they’ve been elected to Congress. They need to stop being afraid of the Progressive smear machine, and get the message out to middle America. Now more than ever they need to act like men, instead of little boys who can’t handle the heat.

President Barack Obama has been increasing the national debt during his presidency by an average of $4.24 billion per day ($4,240,506,004.34) putting him on a pace to increase the national debt by $6.2 trillion ($6,195,379,272,340.74) by the end of his term on Jan. 20, 2013, according to the debt figures published by the U.S. Treasury.

That $6.2 trillion is more debt than was accumulated by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Bill Clinton combined.

In fact, the U.S. national debt did not eclipse the $6.195 trillion level—the amount Obama is on pace to increase it in one term—until August 19, 2002, during President George W. Bush’s second year of office….

Russia: “Should Anything Happen to Iran … This Will Be a Direct Threat to Our National Security”

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 1:51 pm

For any prophecy scholars out there who didn’t think “Rosh”, mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39, could refer to Russia forming an alliance with Islamic countries to attack Israel, current news proves how likely this alliance really is. It also warns us of how close we are to the Middle East war that will set the tribulation in motion.

Russia and China Would Consider An Attack On Iran – Or Syria – As An Attack On Their National Security

The escalating conflict around Iran should be contained by common effort, otherwise the promising Arab Spring will grow into a “scorching Arab Summer,” says Dmitry Rogozin, Russia’s deputy prime minister and former envoy to NATO.

“Iran is our close neighbor, just south of the Caucasus. Should anything happen to Iran, should Iran get drawn into any political or military hardships, this will be a direct threat to our national security,” stressed Rogozin.

Of course, this isn’t the only evidence we have to go on. Russia has long been supplying Iran with arms and equipment needed for their nuclear program. They are an ally to the Islamic world, and a very real threat to Israel, just as the Bible prophesied.

Obama to release high ranking Taliban detainees from Guantanimo

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 10:24 am

This is Barrack Obama’s idea of fighting a war. First you fight and detain the enemy that is killing our soldiers, then you negotiate with that same enemy and let the prisoners go. Whatever happened to not negotiating with terrorists? We HAVE to unseat this dictator in chief in 2012.

Washington Post opinion writer Marc A. Theissen has published a list of the Taliban leaders President Obama is reportedly planning to release from Guantanamo Bay detention center — and their rap sheets just might (or not) shock you.

The Obama administration is allegedly considering the release of these senior Taliban leaders as part of a deal to bring the militant Islamist group to engage in peace talks. According to Theissen, if Obama does in fact proceed with the release, he will do “tremendous harm” to U.S. national security “and to his prospects for reelection this fall.”

DHS National Operations Center Monitors Journalists, Bloggers, Social Media

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 3:44 am

Recent legislation was signed into law by Obama allowing the detention of ANYONE indefinitely on the say so of DHS. Now the DHS has been given the authority to collect personal information on these people. It’s all coming together right before our eyes:

Under the National Operations Center (NOC)’s Media Monitoring Initiative that emerged from the Department of Homeland Security in November, Washington has written permission to collect and retain personal information from journalists, news anchors, reporters or anyone who uses “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.”

That means the same DHS that can detain people without due process, or without charges even being filed, can collect data on journalists, bloggers, people who post on facebook and twitter, and anyone else that doesn’t tow the line for Obama. Hitler took over the media the same way 30 days after he took power. It just took Obama a little longer. No wonder Obama wants to impose internet ID’s – so DHS knows who to pick up and take to all those new FEMA camps they’re building.

This is how World Wars Begin

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 9:19 am

It’s sad to think, but we may see another world war in our lifetime, and sooner than you might think. Historically speaking, this is how they start.

US, Russian French and British air and naval forces streamed to the Syrian and Iranian coasts over the weekend on guard for fresh developments at the two Middle East flashpoints.
The Russian carrier Admiral Kuznetsov anchored earlier than planned at Syria’s Tartus port on the Mediterranean Sunday, Jan. 8, arriving together with the destroyer Admiral Chabanenko and frigate Yaroslav Mudry.
To counter this movement, France consigned an air defense destroyer Forbin to the waters off Tartus.

debkafile’s military sources report a buildup in the last 48 hours of western naval forces opposite Iran in the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea in readiness for Tehran to carry out its threat to close the Strait of Hormuz.

Britain has dispatched the HMS Daring, a Type 45 destroyer armed with new technology for shooting down missiles, to the Sea of Oman, due to arrive at the same time as the French Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier.

Our sources report too that Saturday, the giant RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV, took off from the USS Stenning aircraft carrier for surveillance over the coasts of Iran. The Stennis and its strike group are cruising in the Sea of Oman at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz after Tehran announced it would not be allowed to cross through.
This was the first time the US has deployed unmanned aerial vehicles over Iran since its RQ-170 stealth drone was shot down by Iran on Dec. 4. It was also the first time the huge drone was ordered to take off from an aircraft carrier for a Broad Aerial Maritime Surveillance Mission (BAMS).

Asking For I.D. Before Voting Is ‘Racist’, But You Need A Govt. I.D. To Buy Drain Cleaner?

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:01 am

They require people to show I.D. to buy Drano and Liquid plumber, yet call us racist when we want people to show a valid I.D. before casting their vote in a national election. I say, Liberals are toiletists!! Or, worse yet, poopists! Grease ballists! Hair cloggists. Mental midgets?

Illinois has a new law that took effect on January 1 requiring all people who purchase drain cleaners or any caustic substances to provide a government issued photo ID. And retailers now must ask for identification from those buying drain cleaners and maintain extensive records of which caustic products have been purchased, in what amounts, and by whom.

The law came about after two Illinois women were burned by acid attacks back in 2008. One of the women later admitted to burning herself with acid, but the law was still pushed through the system.

And so, because of one random crime where acid was used to burn a victim, thousands of people will be forced to show identification when they purchase drain cleaners, and countless hours of business time will be spent filling out, maintaining and monitoring the government mandated forms associated with each purchase. Additionally, any person carrying caustic chemicals can be charged with a Class 4 felony in Illinois. (Class 4 felonies can carry fines up to $25,000 and 1-3 years in jail.)

The Illinois drain cleaner law is just one of the 40,000 new laws that took effect in the new year. For the record, the 40,000 new laws are a 29% increase over the previous year.

40,000 new laws! In other words, 40,000 more instances of the government telling us what we can and can’t do.

Iran Threatens Action Against U.S. Aircraft Carrier

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 1:25 pm

With Iran sure to get a nuke in the future, and with threats like this being made, American’s should think long and hard before they nominate a candidate for the Republican ticket.

It’s unbelievable to me that Ron Paul even registers on the radar of national polling. His beliefs regarding our policy and response to Iran are pure lunacy, and based on an illogical fantasy about the realities of our global situation. Iran’s leaders are just as evil and ruthless as Hitler, Stalin, or any other murderous dictator you can recall from history. There is absolutely no reason to assume Iran won’t follow through with their threats, or that everything will be fine, if we just do nothing. Those who claimed Hitler was harmless were dead wrong, too. Only this time it won’t be just the Jews who get annihilated. American’s, too, would pay dearly if they turn a blind eye and follow the “feel good” leader that allows them to keep their head firmly placed in the sand.

Iran will take action if a U.S. aircraft carrier which left the area because of Iranian naval exercises returns to the Gulf, the state news agency quoted army chief Ataollah Salehi as saying on Tuesday.
    advertisement

“Iran will not repeat its warning … the enemy’s carrier has been moved to the Sea of Oman because of our drill. I recommend and emphasize to the American carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf,” Salehi told IRNA.

“I advise, recommend and warn them (the Americans) over the return of this carrier to the Persian Gulf because we are not in the habit of warning more than once,” the semi-official Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying…

It doesn’t help matters that we have a President who displays weakness at every turn, ESPECIALLY with regards to Iran’s belligerence. Each small victory we give them only emboldens them and brings us closer to another Holocaust. Vote for a true Conservative who supports Israel and faces reality. Bachman or Santorum both have those qualities, as well as a comforting level of knowledge on matters of defense and intelligence. Don’t let the media, or the pollsters pick your candidate this time around!
