Why do we have to experience God’s Wrath?

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 9:09 pm

For those of you who might be wondering why devastating earthquakes, tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes and other natural disasters will, and are, taking so many lives, and bringing with them tragic suffering, remember these things:

First, we are entering what Jesus called the “birth pains” that will signal His return. The hope that Jesus return gives us will sustain us through these difficult times.

Second, there is a reason for these events that will ultimately save millions for eternity. God tells us in His Word that these natural disasters, global financial upheaval, and other tragedies are His final attempt to wake people from their complacency and show them that they too have a need for a higher power. Those who choose not to think about what happens after death, might suddenly start thinking about it. In some cases those Sunday school lessons we learned when we were children make a little more sense, and decades later a person might open their Bible and find Christ in those pages before the chaos of the end-times takes his life while he’s unprepared. When were speaking in terms of eternity, I think you’ll agree that one soul means a lot. We should all be praying for a revival like this world has never seen.

Our Lord and Savior wants all of us to go to heaven to live out eternity with Him, but he also gave us free will (would you really want to live life without that?). He’s also given us thousands of years of evidence for His existence, and many chances to find Him, spread the gospel, and bring as many to Christ as we can in our life time. Yet, God weeps at the vast numbers who have ignored His message of love and salvation, and chosen, instead, to follow doctrines of men, and worship creation rather than the Creator. It is for this reason that He is desperately trying to get our attention, before it’s too late to avoid an eternity of torment just because we stubbornly and pridefully refused the simple gift of life God offers to every one of us. All He asks of us is that we believe in Him and love Him with all our heart. If you think of it, He asks no more than we expect of our spouses and our children. Search the scriptures and I promise that you will find the clarity and hope you’re looking for.

Read these Bible verses to gain further understanding of God’s purpose for our current tumultuous times and then keep reading, starting with the New Testament:

    Matthew 24:7; Luke 21:25-26; Revelation 6:12; 11:13; 16:18

U.S. Takes Away Israel’s Only Bargaining Chip

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 4:31 pm

Charles Krauthammer does an excellent job of laying out the habit America has of consistently throwing Israel under the bus, and the current administration’s attempt to pull the rug out from under the Jewish state completely.

Once again Israel is expected to give up more land in exchange for promises that everyone knows the Palestinians have no intention of keeping. Only this time, and for the first time in our long relationship with Israel, Obama is telling Israel they must return to the indefensible 1967 borders in exchange for more “Gaza style” promises. It’s a nonstarter, and Obama knows it. It sure gives the Palestinians a convenient chance to once again blame Israel for stalling the “peace” talks.

On a side note, is anyone else noticing the global chaos and extreme uptick in natural disasters that are accompanying this so called “Arab Spring”. Call me crazy, but a new Nazi political party gaining in popularity in Egypt doesn’t feel much like Spring to me. It’s more like hell on earth all over again.

Every Arab-Israeli negotiation contains a fundamental asymmetry: Israel gives up land, which is tangible; the Arabs make promises, which are ephemeral.

The long-standing American solution has been to nonetheless urge Israel to take risks for peace while America balances things by giving assurances of U.S. support for Israel’s security and diplomatic needs.

It’s on the basis of such solemn assurances that Israel undertook, for example, the Gaza withdrawal.

In order to mitigate this risk, President George W. Bush gave a written commitment that America supported Israel’s absorption of major settlement blocs in any peace agreement, opposed any return to the 1967 lines and stood firm against the so-called Palestinian right of return to Israel.

For two and a half years, the Obama administration has refused to recognize and reaffirm these assurances.

Then last week in his State Department speech, President Obama definitively trashed them. He declared that the Arab-Israeli conflict should indeed be resolved along “the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps.”

Nothing new here, said Obama three days later. “By definition, it means that the parties themselves — Israelis and Palestinians — will negotiate a border that is different” from 1967.

It means nothing of the sort. “Mutually” means both parties have to agree. And if one side doesn’t? Then, by definition, you’re back to the 1967 lines.

    Measles Outbreak in Ohio

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:46 pm

This world is certainly experiencing a wide variety of chaos in the form of natural disasters, diseases, and financial melt downs. Sure looks like “birth pains” to me. Now Iowa’s Department of Health is reporting an outbreak of Measles. Measles is a more serious illness than people might think, since vaccinations have kept outbreaks in check for decades. Health professionals have reason to worry however, as the Measles spread quickly, there is no treatment or cure, and it can lead to death in extreme cases. Read more on the outbreak, response, and recommendations for those who have traveled to Iowa recently below:

A confirmed case of measles has occurred in a Dallas County resident. This situation is being treated as a public health emergency because measles spreads easily and can cause serious illness and death. Local public health officials in Dallas and Polk counties are working with the Iowa Dept. of Public Health (IDPH) to determine who this individual may have exposed to measles and are at risk of becoming ill. Any individuals who visited the following locations at the listed times should check to make sure they have received two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccines.

Obama is the new Arafat – Knesset

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:32 pm

Apparently President Obama is just ignorant of history and military tactics, or he really does side with the Muslim rioters who can’t wait to wipe Israel off the map. Why such a harsh accusation? Because everything he HAS done and everything he WANTS to do, bring the Arab world closer and closer to their stated goal of wiping out the Jewish state.

Case in point: Obama wants to create a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders. This would be like recreating Mexico to include the southern United States.

Many wars were fought in this world’s past, and it shapes the borders we live within today. Why should Israel give back the land they won; the very land that gave the Arabs a strategic advantage in the first place (the Golan Heights and West Bank) to attack them. The Arabs LOST that war, and every other war they’ve launched against the Jewish nation. Losing wars have consequences, especially when they are the result of an unprovoked attack by a bunch of barbaric murders that have historically slaughtered men women and children of other faiths throughout history.

Allow me to sum up. The Arabs attack Israel in 67, they get their butts handed to them, Israel gains the land that the Arabs used to launch their attack (like every other country that has been the victor in a war), and now that the Arabs are working together and with Russia to prepare for another attack, our Socialist, anti-Israel, pseudo Christian, pro Social Justice President wants Israel to give back the land that gave the Arabs their biggest advantage in previous attacks.

America, If we don’t vote this Godless man out of office in 2012, we’re in big trouble. It is our friendship with, and support of Israel that has made us a blessed nation for 200 years. It’s also the right thing to do.

Danon, Ben-Ari outraged by US president’s call for creation of Palestinian state on ’67 lines; Livni says plan in Israel’s interests.

Knesset members on the Right expressed outrage on Thursday night at US President Barack Obama’s call for the creation of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps in an exchange of territory for security.

They called upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to reject Obama’s plan when he meets with him on Friday in Washington.

“Barack Hussein Obama adopted the staged plan for Israel’s destruction of Yasser Arafat, and he is trying to force it on our prime minister,” said Likud MK Danny Danon. “All that was new in the speech was that he called for Israel to return to 1967 borders without solving the crisis. Netanyahu has only one option: To tell Obama forget about it.”

New Al Qaeda plan: Synagogues, churches, small towns, soft targets

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 1:45 pm

With the media’s fine job of releasing as much classified information as possible, and the Obama’s administration demonstrating their lack of experience by providing the enemy large data dumps from the mother load of intel gained in the Osama raid.

Couldn’t the man given our intelligence community even a day, or maybe a week, to find and act on all of that actionable intelligence? The White House gave our enemies a huge break by allowing them time to cover their tracks, and throw out the old Al Qaeda training manual. I fear our antisemitic liberal friends will soon find out what it’s like to be a Jew in Israel.

Though al Qaeda has primarily focused on large-scale coordinated attacks since the tragic events of Sept. 11, including the attempted downing of several commercial airliners, the terrorist organization and its allies are increasingly likely to attempt small-scale attacks in the U.S., senior Obama administration officials said Wednesday. These less intricate attacks—like the plot against New York’s subway system and the failed car bombing in Times Square—are harder to detect. The threat has increased with the rise of al Qaeda-affiliated groups in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia, and with the higher number of American terrorists inspired by terrorist ideology. “The spike in homegrown violent extremist activity during the past year is indicative of a common cause that rallies independent extremists to want to attack the homeland,” said Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

Why Are so Many People Unaware of George Soros?

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:58 pm

George Soros, a billionaire several times over, has ties to 30 news organizations. He exerts influence over many parts of the United States Government, and has used his vast resources and knowledge of world markets to crash the economies of several countries. He has and will contribute more than anyone else to ensuring that Barrack Obama is relelected, and that money will buy him even greater influence over United States policy and global politics. Sound like one of those “conspiracy theories” our current administration loves to talk about? Or, is it possible you aren’t doing enough of your own research? With the advantages we have in technology and the, once unimaginable, access the average person has to information, I propose that there is no excuse for being in the dark. It just takes a little effort, and an understanding that our media’s interests do not lie in educating the public with facts.

A simple google search can provide you with the information needed to verify that Soros has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, NBC and ABC, to name a few.

One last question. If we have remained blissfully unaware of the threat people like Soros, and those he donates money to, how much more are we in the dark about. There are hundreds, even thousands, of information sorces where you can gather facts and come to your own conclusions. In future posts I will be providing some of these sources. They will be non partisan, reliable, and accurate resources that will get you started on the path to being better informed, which in turn will equip you to prepare for what is to come in the very near future.

When liberal investor George Soros gave $1.8 million to National Public Radio , it became part of the firestorm of controversy that jeopardized NPR’s federal funding. But that gift only hints at the widespread influence the controversial billionaire has on the mainstream media. Soros, who spent $27 million trying to defeat President Bush in 2004, has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, NBC and ABC.

Prominent journalists like ABC’s Christiane Amanpour and former Washington Post editor and now Vice President Len Downie serve on boards of operations that take Soros cash. This despite the Society of Professional Journalists’ ethical code stating: “avoid all conflicts real or perceived.”

This information is part of an upcoming report by the Media Research Centers Business & Media Institute which has been looking into George Soros and his influence on the media.

Dollar in graver danger than the euro

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 6:28 pm

Not surprising news. We know the global government we’ll see rise from the current world chaos will be occupy the same land that made up the Old Roman Empire (EU), so naturally the Euro will likely replace the U.S. as the world currency, and the only currency used in oil trading. Being that the US economy is propped up by this current, exclusive privilege to trade oil only in dollars, in much the same way that the dollar was once backed by gold, the dollar will soon be seeing a far more dismal status in the world economy. Which, also makes perfect sense if you know your end-times prophecy.

Widespread Flaws in Weather Stations Networks Used to Track National Temperature Trends
