THE EGO HAS LANDED WORLD REJECTS OBAMA

Filed under: — Jennifer Rast @ 12:29 am

Looks like the “The One” doesn’t quite have the rest of the world Obamatized, as he does many of the sheep in the U.S. Not only did he not secure the Olympics for Chicago in 1012, but they got the least amount of votes. Not even a bronze for the Narcissist in chief. What did he expect after getting up there and making the Olympic games sound like they were all about HIM and his WIFE, instead of the athletes who are so supposed to be celebrated during the events.

Rio deserved the win. They had their priorities straight as far as who should be recognized and honored at the Olympics, and they actually know how to SAVE money for such an event. Chicago is flat broke, corrupt, and didn’t have the support of the people who live there. It was a no brainer. But, it was fun to watch the media and the Obama entourage feel so sure of themselves to the point of sounding like egotistical royalty.

U.S. President Barack Obama’s politically risky Olympics gamble failed to bring home the gold on Friday, with the Olympics committee’s refusal to grant the 2016 Summer Games to his hometown Chicago.

The president, whose even-tempered personality has earned him the nickname “No Drama Obama,” broke from that mold to make an overnight dash from Washington to Copenhagen to personally lobby for Chicago.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, had taken their star power to the Danish capital to make Chicago’s case, ignoring the carping from Republican opponents who charged it was a bad time to go with foreign policy challenges in Iran and Afghanistan and the U.S. Congress bogged down in a domestic healthcare debate.

“I’m asking you to choose Chicago. I’m asking you to choose America,” Michelle Obama told committee members.

Her husband said, “If you do, if we walk this path together, then I promise you this: The city of Chicago and the United States of America will make the world proud.”

Did Obama ever consider that the judges might be a little confused by that last quote after hearing him apologize all over the world and at the U.N. for the evils of America, making long lists of all the things this country has done wrong in her short history? Apparently not. A simple case of ego getting in the way. The French President was exactly right in saying that this president is woefully naive.
