This, from the party that likes to claim their for free speech! If Obama wins (pray that he doesn’t), and the Democrats take over both houses of Congress, the Democrats are set to reimpose the “fairness doctrine”. This doctrine basically takes away Conservative free speech in the name of “fairness”, and demands that liberal talking points be given the same amount of time on talk radio programs, and other Conservative forums. You can bet this law won’t apply to NPR, PBS, and the other publicly funded liberal talk shows and television programs. It boggles my mind that some Americans can not see the obvious unconstitutionality of our government dictating what people on the radio, TV, and probably the internet are allowed to talk about and share with their listeners. Since the failure of Air America and the dismal ratings of liberal talk radio shows have continued, despite liberals best efforts, they are itching to force Conservatives to take up their talking points for them. It’s an obvious violation of the First Amendment to mandate “fairness”, and a loss of freedom for all of us.

Maybe this kind of censorship is what it will take for people to wake up and realize who they have elected to run their country. When blogs, internet media sites, and all things Conservative are once again regulated by liberal censorship, a few people might just regret not fighting harder against the Socialist, Marxist leaders of the Democrat party. Unfortunately, it will be too late. It’s time for churches, Christians, and every Conservative in this country to start fighting again, before we haven’t the freedom to do so. And, the next time we have the opportunity to elect Conservatives back into power (when the democrats are finished ruining our economy and defecating on our Constitution), lets elect some leaders with the backbone to actually do what we demand of them.

SHOULD Barack Obama win the presidency and Democrats take full control of Congress, next year will see a real legislative attempt to bring back the Fairness Doctrine – and to diminish conservatives’ influence on broadcast radio, the one medium they dominate.

Yes, the Obama campaign said some months back that the candidate doesn’t seek to re-impose this regulation, which, until Ronald Reagan’s FCC phased it out in the 1980s, required TV and radio broadcasters to give balanced airtime to opposing viewpoints or face steep fines or even loss of license. But most Democrats – including party elders Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry and Al Gore – strongly support the idea of mandating “fairness.”

Fairness in who’s eyes? In the eyes of Nancy Pelosi, that’s who.

Would a President Obama veto a new Fairness Doctrine if Congress enacted one? It’s doubtful.

The Fairness Doctrine was an astonishingly bad idea. It’s a too-tempting power for government to abuse. When the doctrine was in effect, both Democratic and Republican administrations regularly used it to harass critics on radio and TV.

Second, a new Fairness Doctrine would drive political talk radio off the dial. If a station ran a big-audience conservative program like, say, Laura Ingraham’s, it would also have to run a left-leaning alternative. But liberals don’t do well on talk radio, as the failure of Air America and indeed all other liberal efforts in the medium to date show. Stations would likely trim back conservative shows so as to avoid airing unsuccessful liberal ones.

Then there’s all the lawyers you’d have to hire to respond to the regulators measuring how much time you devoted to this topic or that. Too much risk and hassle, many radio executives would conclude. Why not switch formats to something less charged – like entertainment or sports coverage?

I guess when you can’t win listeners just based on your ideas, you have to use lawyers to get your way. Disgusting.

The American people better wake up and ask themselves if they really know the man who is running for President on the Democrat ticket. The Washington Times is finally reporting today on Obama’s campaign activities in Kenya in 2006. Barrack actively campaigned for and supported a man who caused the deaths of thousands of Christians, promised to impose Sharia law and make Islam the official religion of Kenya if elected, and promised to regulate and restrict all other Religions in Kenya. This article is a must read for every American who plans to vote. We can NOT elect a man to the most powerful office in the world who supports a murderous tyrant like Odinga. It’s truly disturbing that many Americans are, only now, finding this out.

About 50 parishioners were locked into the Assemblies of God church before it was set ablaze. They were mostly women and children. Those who tried to flee were hacked to death by machete-wielding members of a mob numbering 2,000.

The 2008 New Year Day atrocity in the Kenyan village Eldoret, about 185 miles northwest of Nairobi, had all the markings of the Rwanda genocide of a decade earlier.

By mid-February 2008, more than 1,500 Kenyans were killed. Many were slain by machete-armed attackers. More than 500,000 were displaced by the religious strife. Villages lay in ruin. Many of the atrocities were perpetrated by Muslims against Christians.

The violence was led by supporters of Raila Odinga, the opposition leader who lost the Dec. 27, 2007, presidential election by more than 230,000 votes. Odinga supporters began the genocide hours after the final election results were announced Dec. 30. Mr. Odinga was a member of Parliament representing an area in western Kenya, heavily populated by the Luo tribe, and the birthplace of Barack Obama’s father.

Mr. Odinga had the backing of Kenya’s Muslim community heading into the election. For months he denied any ties to Muslim leaders, but fell silent when Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, appeared on Kenya television displaying a memorandum of understanding signed on Aug. 29, 2007, by Mr. Odinga and the Muslim leader. Mr. Odinga then denied his denials.

The details of the MOU were shocking. In return for Muslim backing, Mr. Odinga promised to impose a number of measures favored by Muslims if he were elected president. Among these were recognition of “Islam as the only true religion,” Islamic leaders would have an “oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions [emphasis in original],” installation of Shariah courts in every jurisdiction, a ban on Christian preaching, replacement of the police commissioner who “allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists,” adoption of a women’s dress code, and bans on alcohol and pork.

I believe McCain was the clear winner in the debate tonight. Fox News seems to be the only media source who must have watched a different debate. Even the AP is giving it to McCain.

McCain finally decided to fight back, and show the American people why Obama deserves a closer look before voters make the mistake of trusting him. Ayers and Acorn were given a brief mention this time, and I felt Obama’s response was severely lacking. Regarding the ACORN vote fraud that is becoming a huge problem in states all over the country, Obama was dismissive. He half heartedly gave an explanation that basically over simplified it and made it seem like Obama didn’t think it was a big deal. He said something like, “um, uh, basically some volunteers for Acorn were supposed to get some registration forms filled out and they filled out more than they were supposed to.” He said it in a way that made it seem like it’s nothing we really need to be concerned about. That won’t help him with the American people in my opinion. The Acorn scandal is all over the news, and it’s making a complete shambles of our voting system, to the extent that it may cause something even worse than the Florida debacle of 2000. Dismissing vote fraud of this magnitude is a big mistake. He also never really addressed McCain’s statement that Obama paid ACORN over 800,000 for what his campaign erroneously labeled “staging and lighting” in their campaign’s financial reporting. Obama later corrected it to reflect the truth. It was given to ACORN for “get out the vote activities” – the very activities that generated hundreds of thousands of fraudulent voter registrations for the Democrats.

On Ayers, I thought Obama also looked weak and a little flustered. But, McCain was probably wise not to push it any further. He said enough to get the American people curious and interested, and Obama said enough to make it look like a legitimate complaint about Obama’s connections, character, friends, and judgment. I was left feeling like a whole lot of Americans just might feel compelled to go to their computers after the debate, and read up on Obama’s relationship with Ayers, and others. I do wish McCain had pointed out that Obama flat lied when the controversy first came up by saying that he didn’t even know Ayers. When Obama confessed in the debate that he did work with Ayers on the Annenberg project, McCain should have pointed out that Obama was obviously lying again when he claimed earlier not to know him, and later said he was just a guy in his neighborhood. But, we can’t have everything we want, and I think overall McCain handled it well.

On issues, McCain spanked Obama. I really don’t see what the media Obamanoids love so much about Barrack’s speaking abilities. To me, he sounds clueless far too often, and he does far too much um, um, uuuuuuuuh, uuuuuh, becuuuuuuuuuuuzzzz, becuuuuuuuuzzzzz. He added to that, in this debate, a lot of smirking, laughing, and condescension. He acts like a man that thinks he’s got the election in the bag, and he doesn’t need to prove anything.

There was another winner in the debate tonight, though, and that was Joe the plumber. McCain got off his best argument by reminding viewers of Joe’s question to Obama on taxes. He repeated several times Obama’s comment that “he didn’t want to punish Joe for his success, but he just wanted to spread the wealth around”. Obama admitted to wanting to redistribute wealth, which to many voters is nothing less than Socialism. America may be getting more liberal in some areas of the country, but most Americans do NOT want to become a socialist country, and they don’t support socialist policies. Obama handed McCain a bat with Obama’s name on it when he admitted his plan is to take money from those who have, and give it to those he things deserve it more, even though they already don’t pay taxes.

Probably the best line of the night, though, was when McCain, accidentally I believe, referred to Obama as “Senator Government” when discussing his big government plans. It’s a fitting name for a guy who wants government run healthcare, wants the government to decide whose money should be taken away and given to someone else, and who thinks government is the answer to everything.

I hope McCain didn’t wake up too late, but I’m glad he finally did. He should have learned that the media will be against him whether he fights or not, so he might as well fight.

This is why a constitutional amendment is needed! We must amend the constitution to protect our children from this kind of indoctrination. There is a reason our politicians pretend that amending the constitution is a dangerous step that should be taken only as a last resort. It’s a ridiculous position to present a constitutional amendment as something dangerous, as if it’s never been done before. When our founding fathers wrote the constitution, they immediately amended it many times. That’s where we get our Bill of Rights. They were the first 10 AMENDMENTS to the constitution. There have been other amendments to the constitution that were just as culturally important as defining marriage and stopping gay marriage. Amendments gave black people the right to vote as a whole person, an amendment gave women the right to vote, civil rights were granted to slaves, alcohol was prohibited, and when that didn’t work out, the amendment was undone with another amendment. By amending our constitution in response to the gay agenda, we are not stepping out onto a slippery slope that can never be undone. History proves this. So, when you hear your senators, the president, presidential candidates, or other politicians use boogey man tactics in response to conservative calls for a federal marriage amendment, please know that they are simply afraid of giving too much power back to the people. If the American people knew the history of the amendment process, how many times it’s been used, and for what, they would demand that their voices be heard in Congress, rather than having them constantly ignored and dismissed in the courts. Sadly, too many politicians don’t like the idea of being forced to answer to the people who elected them. This is especially true of liberals, who are desperately trying to bring about a cultural shift and destroy capitalism, in exchange for Obama’s thinly veiled Socialist policies (redistribution of wealth). They like the fact that, once they get into office, they can forget their campaign promises and rely on the courts to toss out any legislation that doesn’t further their agenda.

All across this country Americans are voting against gay marriage. Yet, unelected judges are consistently ignoring our vote and legislating from the bench. All they have to do is deem the laws we vote on unconstitutional to reverse our vote. The judicial branch has, in effect, given themselves a judicial veto that they were never intended to have under our constitution (look up “judicial review” to see how that power was stolen).

Americans must wake up and take back their government. We have every right to amend our constitution, and make our vote and our voices count again. It’s our constitution, and we can force our representative government to change it. We don’t have to live by the opinions of unelected judges. If we don’t fight back, we’ll see more articles like this:

The ad below shows Barack Obama standing at a podium mocking several books of the Bible and those who believe what the Bible says. Obama has a history of mocking Christians who, according to him are just dolts that “cling to their guns and religion”. What kind of Christian mocks the word of God and has nothing but disdain for those who hold to the Word of God to be truth? A true Christian doesn’t! Nor does a true believer in Christ sit in a pew for 20 years and listen to an angry, hate filled pastor spew bile and hatred against his country, and white people. It will be a tragedy for this country if we elect this hateful, Marxist, Socialist phony. To any Christians who are uninformed enough to consider voting for this man, do you really want a leader running our country who mocks your faith, laughs at the Bible, and listened to 20 years of Jeremiah Wrights “God Damn America!” speeches? Not to mention his years of work and socializing with a domestic terrorist, and his support for the election of Odinga in Kenya – a man who burned down 800 Christian churches, had his thugs go on a murderous rampage, and wanted to impose Sharia Law on the Christians of Kenya.

Oh, and if you here from Obama’s “Stop the Smears” crew that the person who made the ad is “just trying to dupe Christians out of their money, and he hasn’t run any ads”, Obama is lying as usual. The ad has been running in PA, and every dime of the contributions has gone to a small cost of making the video and the rest to air time. Obama has a problem with lying. Just what we need more of in our government.

It seems there is no end to Obama’s secret dealings, shady friends, and subversive politics. It’s been revealed in more detail recently that Obama campaigned for Raila Odinga in Kenya, and e-mails have come to light in past days that may just prove Obama gave Odinga advice on how to win the election, as well as how to enact a strategy of creating tribal tensions in Libya that would help get him elected. Odinga is from the same tribe as Obama’s father, and some say he may be distantly related to Obama through his father’s side of the family. So, why is this relevant to Obama’s character, honesty, and qualifications for the presidency of the United States? Odinga happens to be responsible for the murder of many Christians in Kenya, and the burning of 800 Christian churches. If elected to office, he promised to make it illegal to arrest Muslim terrorists, and vowed to institute Sharia Law on every person in Kenya, including Christians in Muslim declared regions of the country. He lost the election, but became the president anyway after inciting a class war that led to widespread, deadly violence. Obama can be seen in videos campaigning for this man during his 2006 fact finding mission to Kenya. We know Obama is also a fan of class warfare, and his Chicago style politics would come in handy in helping his cousin steal an election. What bothers me most about this is Obama’s pattern of associating with socialists (he’s a member of the socialist “New Party” (see foxnews.com, etc. for revelations about this party in today’s news), and his support of terrorist dictators, as well as domestic terrorists who share his agenda of politicizing our youth and turning them into radical left wing zealots (See the Ayers connection and where the Anninberg money was distributed here). His associations tell the story of his rise to public office, and the political beliefs that got him there. It’s critical that voters know about these parts of his past, especially since his voting record consists of mostly voting “present”, and he lies about the rest of his brief record in the Senate. I led off with Obama’s links to Odinga, mostly to demonstrate a pattern, but also to show that Obama has a history of going around our government, and making secret deals of his own with foreign leaders. The Washington Times will be reporting tomorrow on another such case of bipassing the Bush administration, when Obama tried to get the Iraqi’s to turn down a Bush administration deal on keeping troops in Iraq. I can see where this would be good for his political career, so I guess it shouldn’t surprise me that he would put that career first and risk a defeat in Iraq to bolster it. After all, he said his main consideration when the Iraq war was voted on was how his vote would affect his campaign for the presidency.

We don’t need a leader that can’t be trusted to tell the truth, hangs around with socialists and terrorists, and wants to indoctrinate our chilren into the hatred and anti-Americanism of the Left. We definitely don’t need Obama’s “Civilian National Security Force”!

This is what happens when greed catches up with you. I thought the “Bailout” was supposed to prevent this very panic and decline in foreign markets? You ever get the feeling your pocket has just been picked?

Panic swept through the world’s financial markets yesterday, wiping $2,500 billion from share values, amid concern that regulators and politicians were struggling to get a grip on the worsening crisis of confidence.

Share values plunged as some investors sold at any price and retreated to the safety of gold and government bonds. The FTSE 100 posted its biggest ever points fall, down 391 at 4,589, and at 7.85 per cent its biggest percentage fall since Black Monday in October 1987, reducing the value of British blue-chip companies by £93 billion.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 370 points to 9,956, the first time it has sunk below the 10,000 mark in four years. At one point it was down 800 points. This morning in Tokyo the Nikkei 225 index fell more than 5 per cent within 30 minutes of opening. ….

And what does our government have to say in response? GIVE US MORE!!

It’s about time McCain started defending himself, and stopped hiding Palin from the press. I just hope it’s not too little, too late. At least by taking the gloves off, they have a good chance of winning this election. Obama has a past full of bad judgment, crooked friends, and shady dealings. The American people deserve to know the truth about him before they vote. The MSM is too busy combing Alaska for any speck of dirt on Sarah Palin, I guess, to even report on the research that has already been done. The New York Times was given a stack of supporting documentation that was recently released from Columbia University, yet their puff peace on the Ayers connection included none of it. If the truth is going to get out there, McCain and Palin will have to do it on their own. McCain needs to accept that the MSM is no longer his friend, and they want nothing more than to get Obama elected. I think he’s starting to get a clue on this fact.

He’s finally calling Obama out on the lie Biden told at the VP debate, accusing McCain of being against regulation to deal with the Fannie Freddy mess. The truth is that McCain was the only Senator who sounded a warning bell and pushed for greater regulation to avert a crisis.

The GOP presidential candidate told a campaign rally: “Sen. Obama has accused me of opposing regulation to avert this crisis. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed.”

In some of the harshest language yet, McCain said the campaign comes down to a simple question: Who is the real Barack Obama?

McCain drew the loudest cheers when he said the Democrat has written two memoirs but “he’s not exactly an open book.”

Trailing in the polls, McCain and his advisers say they will hammer that theme as the campaign heads toward the Nov. 4 election.

Sarah is doing her part to expose the bad judgment of this man who wants to be the next leader of the free world. She spent today talking about Obama’s relationship with a domestic terrorist, and the racist, anti-American Reverend Wright.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin expanded her attack on Democrat Barack Obama’s character Monday to include his relationship with an incendiary former pastor as well as his ties to 1960s-era radical Bill Ayers.

In the process, Palin toned down her description of the Obama-Ayers relationship after her weekend remarks were criticized as exaggerated, but at the same time she embarked on a discussion of Obama’s relationship with his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., which Republican presidential candidate John McCain had signaled he did not want to be a part of his campaign.

In an interview with conservative The New York Times columnist William Kristol published Monday, the Alaska governor said there should be more discussion about Wright, Obama’s pastor of 20 years at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. The Democratic candidate denounced Wright and severed ties with the church last spring after videotapes surfaced showing Wright making anti-American and anti-Semitic comments from the pulpit.

Her comments on Ayers were factually accurate, which explains the media whining that Palin was exaggerating. Their desperate attempts to dismiss any mention of Ayers, even when it’s backed up with solid proof, tells you how bad it would look for Obama, and what it could do to his campaign.

The left’s hatred knows no end. On The View this morning, Walters complained that it bothered her to see Palin holding her “handicapped baby” on the stage after the debate. Does anyone think Bahbah Wahwah would be offended if Barack held an infant child in his arms following his debate? Or, maybe Walters just doesn’t like the site of a mother holding a child that she, and so many liberals like her, would have murdered in the whom, rather than offend people by having him.

Michelle Malkin is also reporting that Eric Shawn was interviewing Liz Trotta regarding Palin’s debate performance, and she made the following comment:

“the image of dragging that handicapped baby around, having it up on stage…that has caused consternation in some crowds…”

IT???? IT? HE is a BABY, not an it. I guess women with special needs children should hide their babies in the house and never hold them in public, according to this despicable woman. Of course, she later claimed that she was just repeating what others have been saying, but most people know that something that disgusting should not be repeated, especially on the national news.

Hatred can make the lefties act like animals sometimes. Bringing Palin’s children into it should reveal just how immoral and evil the far left really is to most people.

Better late than never, I guess. Palin has finally been turned loose to speak for the common folks, and say what John reach-across-the-isle McCain is too afraid to say. Those who bypass the MSM filter and get their news from the internet have known for a long time that Obama’s ties to Bill Ayers (domestic terrorist of Weather Underground fame), are far, far more than just “a guy in Obama’s neighborhood”, as Obama tried to claim. Ayers sat on Boards with Obama, and was Obama’s employer for four years during his community organizing days. Obama launched his political career from Ayers house, and even headed one of Ayers main non-profit organizations, as was proven by documents recently released regarding Ayers’ non-profit Chicago “Annenberg Challenge”. The Annenberg papers reveal a very close working relationship between the two, and Obama has even been quoted as saying that the Marxist, domestic terrorist Ayers is “mainstream”!

At a rally/fund raiser in California this morning, Palin gave the crowd some straight talk about Obama’s shady past, and effectively took away the MSM’s ability to continue shielding Obama from these facts. Even the New York Times was forced to write about the Ayers connection in today’s edition, albeit in the form of a pro-Obama, puff piece, severely lacking in facts that can easily be obtained by any journalist who really wants to find them.

It’s about time McCain stopped being afraid of Obama’s inevitable whining that always ensues any time a political opponent actually goes on the offensive against him.

Now watch as the MSM, who referred to Obama’s recent attacks on McCain as a “fiesty response” to negative campaigning, shriek and whine about the evil, “Swiftboat tactics” of a desperate McCain/Palin campaign. Only Liberals are allowed to point out the “failed policies” and “disastrous years” of the Bush Administration and his clone McCain. Conservatives must remain silent, or submit politically correct comments to the MSM filter for the appropriate amount of spinning, mocking, finger pointing, and indignant wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Good luck with that this time, MSM. With Sarah loosed to speak the truth the way we all wish we could, the American people are going to start taking another look at “The One”. They’re going to google some of this new uncensored information, and find out that we don’t want Obama’s kind of change! Go Sarah!!
