Unbelievable,Jen. Without the warnings from the Bible, I never would have thought that we could have arrived at this point in the U.S. It is sad and a bit scary to see.
But like you, my blog will stay up as long as possible and will most definitely critical of our current “emperor want to be” in the White House.

[...] It’s been a week since I’ve posted.Â I’d feel terrible about this, except for nothing much happened this week.Â I heard rumors of something big, but I’m having difficulty remembering what it was.Â It was something “hopey” and “changey” I think.Â Oh, that’s right!Â We inked the deal on a new president – Barack Hussein Obama.Â This is historic.Â Historical and hopey, changey.Â Well, I suppose that’s true.Â And this historic election brings to the White House a president who has already set his pro-homosexual agenda which involves pushing for repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, repealing the ban on gays in the military, expanding anti-discrimination laws that could force Christians to violate their deeply-held religious beliefs, and expand gay adoption, which is just not wise. This historic election also brings to us a president who is radically pro-abortion, is pushing for passage of the Freedom of Choice Act which would do away with all current abortion restrictions (such as the ban on partial-birth abortions), and is repealing the ban on federal monies to support abortion abroad.Â Haven’t been killing enough babies, I guess.Â And this historic election brings to us a president with the naivete to believe that closing Gitmo is a good idea and would have our troops reading miranda warnings to unlawful terrorist combatants.Â Sweet.Â Hope and change?Â I sincerely hope President Obama changes his mind.Â So do millions of unborn children. [...]

Hi jkaiser. Yes he does think he can please everyone. He’s narcissistic and can’t fathom everyone not eventually seeing it his way and worshiping him. Very much like Hitler.

So far he’s broken almost every campaign promise he made. He’s waffling on Gitmo now that he knows there are dangerous people there (du). He went back on the Bush tax cuts and won’t get rid of them, but will let them expire. And the list goes on. The left is seething about it. LOL! There will come a time though, when the opinion polls will be his guide, and he’ll start ramming socialism down our throats. He’ll decimate the military like Clinton did, and he’ll get rid of the intelligence gathering capabilities that kept us from getting attacked for 7 years. His ego is far bigger than his concern for our country. I predict we will be attacked again in his presidency. Sadly.

I am still not sure how to take Obama. He asks Warren to speak at his inauguration and it angers the gays. His response? To ask a gay bishop who is living in a homosexual relationship to speak/pray at another part of the inauguration- which will annoy many of the people who were originally happy to see him invite Warren to speak. Does this guy think he can please everyone?

Will he walk the same line with the whole, “Try Bush for War Crimes!” crowd? Making all kind of public comments about he hasn’t taken that option off the table, while all the while discouraging/or encouraging actions behind the scenes?
